((Hmm. Sorry if the title doesn't work... I just decided to make sure that it was obvious that this was the title. If I'm too new to have the character, or anything, just tell me.))
Name: Cerberus
Clan: Wolf pack
Rank: Alpha Wolf
Age: 4 years
Physical Description: A hulking behemoth, Cerberus received his name well. The giant canine is bulging with quadrupedal muscle, and his fur is thick, smooth, and warm. The beast has glimmering yellow eyes, and his distinctive feature is his left ear, which has a large tear in it from a vicious fight that declared him as the Alpha of the pack. All who know him tend to call him the 'Black Phantom' because of his pitch black pelt. Oddly, the pelt brightens to a slightly rusty golden when it reaches his underbelly.
Long and lithe, Cerberus is like a giant hare. His teeth are neat, though many of them are permanently crusted with red and a slightly nasty black from blood. This gives him a sardonic 'smile' that can scare any into submission. One reason why the youthful wolf got his title.
He has a neat, innocent glimmer in his eyes, often luring trusting creatures to their painful, tainted deaths.
Personality: Cerberus is truly a backstabbing weasel. He's infamous for killing friends, grabbing them by the scruff with his locked, iron jaws and biting their jugulars before they can let out a howl of retaliation. Ironically, he is not in the slightest bit insane. Cerberus is a dictator, vicious, holding the few allies who he trusts close, and killing anyone who he doubts.
That's one reason why his pack is so small. Other than that, Cerberus is marblehearted and sarcastic, enjoying cynical humor. He eats anything, and often bats animals around with his paws before mutilating their corpses and gnawing greedily on their bones. To be simple? Just stay away. All cats, stay away.
History: When Cerberus was born, all knew that he was bound to be significant. He was named this as a certain kind of joke by his father, because he was born with two other pups- one came out before him, the other after him, making him the 'central head'. Thus, the name stuck.
However, as soon as his eyes were opened, Cerberus actually killed his two brothers. Nobody knows why- probably because they were all fatally competitive when it came to nursing from their mother. Cerberus won... it was lucky, considering how, despite his current, giant size, he was a mere runt at birth.
Many found promise in Cerberus, and a male wolf named Catbane, a fat, chocolate brown wolf raised him and taught him the tricks of the trade. Cerberus found Catbane to be greedy, thick-headed, and awkward, since Cerberus's father promised a great amount of prey to the one male who managed to turn Cerberus into a bloody warrior.
Catbane was already hated, so nobody seemed to care when he was found drowned in a river one day. Cerberus's father actually praised his snide, sly son, and encouraged this behavior, morphing Cerberus into an even more menacing monstrosity.
Years came and went, and Cerberus's father passed on from a battle with another pack. The pack ran away promptly, knowing they would not be met by anything merciful of Cerberus found them.
As plagues came and demolished the pack, Cerberus took over by brute force- he found a love, and they had a litter, though only one survived- and his love died in childbirth, causing him to resent that child forever.
Desperation attacked his already wounded ego, and the heartless wolf is now making his home in the land of the cats- delicious, munchy cats... oh, yes. It's so fun to hear their bones smash...
Other: Nothing, other than the fact that he's the wolf who's attacking the cat lands and planning on ripping them all to shreds- he also is a father, having raised a few pups- though only one survived. And, even then, he left his only child a while ago to die... little does he know that this may come back to haunt him...
IC: "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty..." The hiss was morbidly sweet, and the canine sat on his haunches, tail twitching, his legs preparing as he hoped to lunge. The beast was a black reaper, though his stomach was a bit more white and brown. Yellow, weary eyes watched as a pure white, blue-eyed cat waddled away from the safety of its camp, a deaf cat, to be exact.
Cerberus knew that white cats with blue eyes were almost always deaf. He took his time, nibbling a patch of mangy fur on his otherwise fluffy coat. His ears pressed back hard against his hard skull, and his whiskered lips curled back to reveal many different teeth, all made for ripping and tearing into soft flesh.
The cat took its time, covered in a few minor scars as the tom innocently walked forward, his tail straight in the air, comically drooping to one side. Comical humor didn't matter to the pitifully hungry wolf, whose sides were heaving with anticipation as he slavered, a rich pink tongue lolling out of his mouth.
Beads of pure saliva dripped off of the edge of his rough tongue, and his ears twitched and swirled. Food. Hah. Forget the hunters, Cerberus would get his own food.
That was when he let out the ear-piercing howl, swinging his skull back and allowing his vocal cords to blast out the loudest cacophony imaginable. He leaned forward, flexed his paws, and with an insane snarl, the creature seemed to grin and lunged upon the unsuspecting white cat.
((Gah. Post... so... short... T_T *Falls over.*))
