The beta preffered to catch her own food, rather than let someone else do it for her. sleek physique shifted effortlessly through the darkened forest, accurate sniffer on the scent of a bull moose. Smirk rested pon her emotionless maw, a cruel twisted thing it was. she broke into a run, still silent as anything, and continued on through the forest, watching for the bull tha she could now smell so easily. Upon finding it, however, she had no idea what to do... after all, it would tke at least two wolves to take it down... she supposed she could starve it but,... that would take much too long. A week, at the least. She was hungry now, and would probably be too weak in a week without food to take the bull down, let alone a rabbit.Checking herself as she got too close to the bull, she hung back anxiously from the bull., looking for a pack member to help her with this prize....

The two stalked, twin reapers, their scythes placed in their yellowed mouths. Fangs glimmered and vocal cords rumbled as the two snarled at the moose. Nasir looked, the grayish splotch of a wolf padding over silently with mangy claws, looking at Dessy and quietly tossing his head towards the general direction of the moose. The male, one-eyed wolf looked at her a bit harshly. "Kill the moose. We're going to take it down, and bring it back to camp- the whole pack'll celebrate a meal like that... heh. I never knew these cat-lands could produce such mouth-watering treats, hmm?" He grunted, and Ena nodded, the chocolate wolf wearily looking at the oblivious, thick-skulled moose.
The ungulate continued to idly chew at lichens and various other grasses, its brown fur slightly wet. Nasir looked at Dessy. "Perhaps we should surround it?" Wolves were naturally very good strategists- those cats didn't know what they were up against. Even a wolf pup could outsmart a Clan leader... at least, that's what Nasir believed.

a small smirk broke out 'pon Dessy's face as she saw the two appear, and she sighed quietly in relief. Vocals flew quietly, quickly, across the space there was between them, and she moved closer so as to hear them better, and vice versa. making hardly any noise at all as she moved ghost-like through the forest, her lithe form still giving the camoflouge she needed to surprise the moose.
*Surround it. Wait 'till it starts to drink, then attack. I'll get up on it somehow, and distract it. Who wants the throat?*

"I'll take that..." Nasir smirked. He licked his furry chops briefly, tail swaying. Ena nodded. "Then, while you two are getting at it, I'll barrel into it to knock it over completely... hmmph. Good. Good." She grinned almost innocently. Before long, the two were dashing off to proper positions, leaning down.
Nasir calculated the position perfectly with natural instinct. Good, good. This area was a bit barren in the clearing where the moose was, making it easy to see the beast- but Nasir was gray, so he slightly matched the rocky ground. Ena fit in perfectly in the trees, and Nasir's tail flared and shot straight out, his ears straight against his hard skull as he waited- his tail was the one warning that a beast would receive- run, or be attacked.

Eternal bounded in, pads thudding on the blades of grass. She nodded to her superiors. "Sorry I was late. Oh, well..." she murmured, jaws slavering. The herbivore lifted its head briefly, then put it back down. How stupid could a creature get..?
The fae pawed the ground restlessly. But she had to wait for her Alpha's word. When would it come?

Dessy watched carefully as the moose snapped its great head up, looking, it seemed, straight at Eternal. a small breath of releif was released as it put its head back down...... steady, steady....... when it moved for the small stream and abandoned all regard, however, she flicked her tail, trying to give the signal to the others. It was time. As the distraction, she would go first.... no sound was emitted from her dripping kissers, yet she stalked into the clearing. The moose- a stupid animal- did not even raise its head to see her, yet mistook the movement for a she-moose and grunted an invitation for a drink. Dessy smirked widely, and put her muzzle in the water, relishing the fear she saw in the great beasts pools as he caught sight of the four-legged fury he had invited. she jumped, scrambling for traction on his antlers and finally digging her deadly claws into the mooses back and slashing away with her crimson-stained ivories. she had put her life in the hands of her pack, becasue if the moose retaliated when she was alone..... she would die.

Nasir flew forward like a whirlwind, knowing that Eternal and Ena would be able to get the moose down all the way. He heard the bellowing moose as it swungs its mighty head, and even though the male wolf knew that it was an imbecile, this thing could trample him to death with its clumsy hooves. He wouldn't let that happen- revealing his full set of ivory-white teeth, he jumped forward and dug his fangs into the creature's neck. The moose's neck was too thick to be completely pierced, so blood didn't spurt out of the jugular, but the creature's head was lowered as Nasir dragged it down- it was still alive, panicking.
Ena began loping as fast as she could, preparing for an impact- she planned on headbutting the creature right in the ribs, and then fastening her teeth around one of the legs.

the femme heard with satisfaction the bellowing cry of the great beast below her, and tore into 'im with a veangance, though knew better than to go further than the thick hide. she did not want to damage it, just distract it. a sharp pull was granted to one of the ears, staying as far away from the great things head of antlers as possible.claws dug into his neck, and she scratched as hard as she could, trying to get him to think of her instead of Nasir at his throat.

Eternal broke into a sprint, her pads thudding onto the muddy ground. Her lips parted in a smile as her tongue lolled about, froth spraying from the mouth. Teeth bared, the femme lept upon the dumb animal, digging fangs into a hind leg.
The moose kicked, nostrils flared with fear and the scent of blood-- its own. The she-wolf was thrown off from her grip, and she stood up again.

Ena felt nervous, feeling her head collidge with the side of the moose. It let out a dismayed call as it fell to the ground with a smash, and Nasir let go of its throat for a brief second. "Quick! Everybody, grab a leg! We'll let it bleed to death!" The wolf snarled, immediately going for the creature's swinging foreleg as it kicked madly- he narrowly avoided a hoof to the muzzle, and he quickly dug his teeth into the moose- Ena followed, but she went for a hind leg.

Eternal dashed in, biting down hard on the creature's other forleg, pressing all of her weight down on it.
The moose bleated wildly, tossing its head back and forth, crazed eyes glowing with fright and terror. It locked eyes with the Delta briefly, before turning its head to the sky, and giving a prolonged call to the heavens before laying his head down again.

Nasir soon realized that the group had killed the moose. Panting, he nodded a bit. "Good. Good... you guys can take the carcass back. I'm going to go find smaller snacks..." He muttered tiredly, padding off silently.
The wolf said nothing, galloping off as fast as his padded paws could carry on.

Eternal glared. Great. So the Cyclops didn't have to drag the carcass. Oh, well. She nodded at Dessy, tail hanging low. She had the right to rip it open, after all.
